Our Research

Behavioral Finance

Behavioral finance is a relatively new field that seeks to combine behavioral and cognitive psychological theory with conventional economics and finance to provide explanations for why people make irrational financial decisions.

Fixed Income Analysis

Fixed income analysis is the valuation of fixed income or debt securities, and the analysis of their interest rate risk, credit risk, and likely price behavior in hedging portfolios. Fixed income products are generally bonds issued by various institutional parties.

In this research area, we combine a broad range of economic subjects including banking, financial intermediation, asset and liability management, financial decision making, financial markets and institutions, and accounting.

Financial Modeling

Financial modeling is the task of building an abstract representation (a model) of a real world financial situation. This is a mathematical model (Quantitative Finance) designed to represent the performance of a financial asset or portfolio of a business, project, or any other investment.

Sentiment Analysis

Sentiment Analysis is the process of determining whether a piece of writing is positive, negative or neutral. It’s also known as opinion mining, deriving the opinion or attitude of a speaker. A common use case for this technology is to discover how people feel about a particular topic.

Policy Development

Policy Development, in our term refers to policies related to the regulation, supervision, and oversight of the financial and payment systems, including markets and institutions, with the view to promoting financial stability, market efficiency, and client-asset and consumer protection.
